FAQs

Question 1

What is a Notary Public?

A notary public is a state-appointed official who acts as an impartial witness to the signing of important documents, helping to prevent fraud and ensure the proper execution of legal paperwork.

Question 2

Do you offer mobile notary services?

Yes, we offer mobile notary services for your convenience. A mobile notary travels to your location—whether it’s your home, office, hospital, or another agreed-upon place—to notarize your documents in person. This service is ideal if you have a busy schedule, mobility challenges, or need urgent notarization without the hassle of traveling to an office

Question 3

What types of documents can you notarize?

    •  Legal agreements (contracts, wills, powers of attorney)

    •  Real estate documents (deeds, mortgages, leases)

    •  Court documents (affidavits, sworn statements)

    •  Financial and business forms

Question 4

What identification do I need to bring?

You must provide a valid, government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, state ID card, or passport. The ID must be current and include your photo and signature

Question 5

Can you provide legal advice?

No. Notaries are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice, draft documents, or explain the content of documents. We can only verify identity and witness signatures.

Question 6

Do I need to be present for my document to be notarized?

Yes. The person signing must appear in person before the notary, unless using approved remote online notarization (RON).

Question 7

What is remote online notarization (RON)?

RON allows documents to be notarized via secure video conferencing, following specific state guidelines. Ask us if this service is available for your document.
